Chief Complaint: Join Pain
a. History: Several large joints, fever, and malaise; had a severe sore throat approximately 2 weeks ago, apparently recovering without antibiotic therapy.
b. Physical Exam: New heart murmur and friction rub on auscultation, and a painless nodule is detected on the extensor surface of the elbow.
